The UX Researcher exists to facilitate the understanding of our chosen market and how their lives can be improved through the use of our products and services.
Covenant Eyes offers a certain kind of software-as-a-service that provides value and offers a unique solution to its subscriber’s situation. Without a proper understanding of our customers, their needs, and their environment we cannot hope to serve them well. The role of UX Researcher at Covenant Eyes is the critical link between what we offer and what our customers need. A proper view of potential, current and past customers builds the critical path to success across various touch-points including websites, new member onboarding, software and app interfaces, emails, and customer support touch-points.
Thus, the role of UX Researcher at Covenant Eyes is pivotal. A UX Researcher appreciates how the domains of qualitative and quantitative data work together to provide an accurate view of our service and how it relates to the various personas in our customer base. A UX Researcher must collect and evaluate qualitative data through various means of collection across a wide variety of our customer base and provide meaningful insights to inform the current state and future version our software and services should take. UX Researchers must also collect quantitative data to provide a deeper understanding of our service. The UX Researcher interprets and analyzes qualitative and quantitative data, leading to recommendations that directly impact our product.
The UX Researcher collaborates with the UX Team and and the broader Product department to share the responsibility and execution of research. They also collaborate with the Business Intelligence and Member Care teams to gather and analyze user data.
