Overview

As a Covenant Eyes Recruiter, you will be charged with finding the most effective candidates who are mission-driven, align with our core behavioral values, team-focused, qualified, and provide quality service. By leveraging knowledge of the hiring needs and search requirements, you will effectively match candidates with the roles in which they will be most successful. This position calls for a unique combination of skills, you'll need to be a creative and driven recruiter utilizing strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers, while also possessing the technical aptitude to administer our Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other Human Resources Information Systems.

 

From generating the pipeline to providing a successful offer acceptance rate, the position manages the entire candidate process connecting the candidates to the mission and vision of Covenant Eyes.


It requires comfort with numbers and drawing insights from analytics to make our hiring process smarter and more efficient.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Hiring Managers to understand the qualification criteria and update job descriptions when appropriate. Work cooperatively to develop job postings and build-out effective, strategic, sourcing plans while being financially responsible.
  • Source candidates for a variety of skill sets and multiple positions through various search resources including but not limited to social media, job boards, internet searches, professional networks, internal and external referrals, etc.
  • Administer our applicant tracking systems, iCIMS, including creating customizations, building workflows, and enhancing efficiencies by researching new features and tools. 
  • Assist with the onboarding process to include material development, scheduling, new employee paperwork, and overall support. 
  • Assist in the maintenance and support of job description development/editing/creation. 
  • Work to fill all needs internally without relying on external placement support where possible, developing career path opportunities.
  • Assess candidates to determine whether their capabilities match the job requirements.
  • Determine job offer details. Prepare and extend new hire offers.
  • Maintain a solid pipeline of qualified candidates for future consideration.
  • Accurately document and track candidates in the applicant tracking system.
  • Develop and provide insightful and pro-active recruiting reports.
  • Establish trust and confidence by maintaining a high level of credibility, integrity, and skilled communications with managers, peers and candidates.
  • Actively participate and contribute to process improvement strategies and projects within the Human Resources Division.
  • Work to a high professional standard. This also means your team needs to be able to rely on you to be thorough while completing your work on time.
  • Work in a highly collaborative and effective manner, both independently and in cross functional teams.
  • Serve as backup to other teammates. Assist with their workload or even substitute for them as appropriate.
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, related field or comparable experience.
  • Proven experience in corporate recruiting, with a successful track record of filling open positions.
  • Strong understanding of HRIS databases and systems
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting. 
  • Team-oriented with proven recruitment and customer service skills and a demonstrated desire to exceed expectations.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and multi-task in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment.
  • Technologically savvy with excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, and HRIS preferred).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Flexible, able to change direction quickly.
  • Solid sense of accountability, work ethic, and integrity.
  • Ability to handle confidential information and escalate issues when appropriate.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage at all levels of the organization.

Preferred Experience:

  • Blended background in Corporate Recruiting and Agency/3rd Party Recruiting. 
  • Experience administering, updating, and building workflows in various Applicant Tracking Systems (iCIMS, Greenhouse, Workday, etc.).
  • Experience working with various HRIS, service desk, and content management systems (iCIMS, Jira, and Confluence)
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with department leaders to develop, refine, and maintain accurate and engaging job descriptions.
