Unfortunately, Pornography does not discriminate. It reaches men, women, and children equally both in and outside the Church. Covenant Eyes uses world-class educational content to teach various audiences about the devastating Impact of this habitual sin. And yet, few churches have any ministry for those who are struggling.
Covenant Eyes believes that in order to effect cultural change related to the issue of pornography, we must help the Church understand the issue and teach its people how to live porn-free.
Thus, the primary role of the Church Outreach Specialist at Covenant Eyes is to have a keen understanding of the issue of pornography, the inner- workings of Catholic diocesan structures, Church teaching on sexuality, be responsible to build relationships, and help create and implement strategies to help people in the church overcome pornography; additionally bring new affiliate and partnership opportunities to Covenant Eyes church marketing team by networking at events, making calls, or sending emails.
Key Objectives
- Onboard and support the churches - Promote the continued adoption of key Covenant Eyes programs in the Church or para-church such as Safe Haven Sunday, Strive, and podcast, and other new programs by developing tactics to deliver these to the church market. This is done by calling, attending meetings or events with church leadership. This role is responsible to connect with key leaders in the church and recommend to them the benefits of activating the other Covenant Eyes programs.
- Collaborate and Plan - Collaborate with internal and cross-departmental staff to assist with the planning of new resources for church and ensure success of strategic church marketing initiatives. This role will assist with developing tactics for delivering programs and products the church market using online and digital strategies.
- Represent Covenant Eyes at Events - Professionally represents Covenant Eyes at conferences and speaks at church or denomination events on the topic of pornography using presentations created and designed by the church marketing team.
The primary role of the Marketing Web Strategist is to design, analyze, and assist in creating changes to web-based content to support and engage customers on their journey away from porn. The person works closely with all members of the Marketing Team as well as cross-departmental teams, to optimize the customer journey, utilizing a variety of media channels, including websites and landing pages, streaming video, social media, and email marketing. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, designing, writing, editing, consulting, research, and general organization of campaigns or initiatives.
The Recovery Specialist role is a content creator, including video and written content, who brings sex addiction counseling or coaching expertise to the job, contributing to the development of recovery features in our Victory app and to the creation of educational resources that help people who have been impacted by pornography.
This position requires researching, validating, and developing clear and compelling content at an advanced level that adheres to the Covenant Eyes brand standards.
This specialist is a member of the Recovery Education Team in the Marketing Department at Covenant Eyes, Inc., an employee-owned company. The Recovery Education Team creates educational content in many forms to teach men, women, and teens about the devastating impact of unwanted, habitual pornography use — and how to truly recover. Our primary market of Christians in the USA has confirmed that beyond the emotional, physical, and mental effects, porn use harms their relationships with God, family, and friends. We work hard to provide educational resources to help in restoring those relationships, as part of the healing process, which is empowered by our accountability service, called Victory by Covenant Eyes. Plus, we work to equip and empower church leaders with relevant resources they can rely on as they serve their congregations.
The position will also serve as a collaborator and coordinator with outside counselors, researchers, and recovery programs.
