The primary objective for the HR Generalist is to support management in decision-making related to people management.  This involves applying HR best practices and devising strategies in line with company goals and objectives in compliance with state and federal requirements while helping to reinforce company policies.    The HR Generalist carries out the daily functions of a Human Resources department and works closely with internal divisions such as employee relations, payroll, benefits, recruiting, training, etc.   This position supports the goals of the department and the company through the implementation of processes including but not limited to providing research, data entry; the compilation of data; analyzing information; and preparing and verifying compliant and accurate reports, correspondence, and other documents then using the data to identify solutions to complex problems.    The HR Generalist supports the team by assisting with special projects, providing backup during absences, and coordinating as a team member with other departments under the HR Manager’s direction. The position may also include responsibilities such as leading and overseeing subordinate staff.

This role, guided by CE Systems Architects, applies and develops technologies and processes, from proof-of-concept and reference implementations through to production systems.   This position is also responsible for the hands-on management and support of existing technology solutions, and for technical definition and delivery of new solutions and tools, both internal and customer facing.

Our priority for this hire is the Core Team. We work on a wide variety of platforms - mobile, web, iOS, Android, Mac, Windows - to deliver our core accountability service to paid subscribers. The Core Team is small, and we have a lot to do these days. For example: - We partner with Data Science to learn how our AI model works, where the opportunities are, how to present its output to members, and what sorts of experiences members might value - We handle many of the details for how data is presented to allies (i.e. someone there to provide accountability), which means we are regularly thinking through complex relational dynamics and seeking to find the right balance between serving our entire userbase and each individual - We partner with the development team responsible for our 4 client apps (iOS, Android, Windows, Mac) to design the details of how members get the service set up - We partner with Member Care to understand what they’re encountering in their conversations with customers, trying to piece together a clearer picture of what’s happening so we can decide if anything should be done - We partner closely with Product Management to investigate problems and opportunities throughout the service, and build solid proposals for how to make it better You will have the opportunity to engage with all of this, and more.
